With technology contributing to discussions about what lies ahead in life today, plenty of people of faith wonder, “Is the Bible related to Artificial Intelligence?” The Scriptures do not speak specifically about AI; however, they do contain precepts that are relevant to evaluating every aspect of creation through wisdom, discernment, and spiritual maturity.
We at the School for Prophets Africa believe that God’s word is a reference to help you understand current events and not what you see in the news or read in the daily papers. We trust in God’s word, and not in technology, so we need not question the validity of our faith because of advances in technology over time. Each generation has experienced significant changes that have tested our faith and compelled each one of us to continue trusting in God; our generation is going through similar experiences.
Understanding the Camps of God
One of the foundational teachings at the School for Prophets Africa is the biblical understanding of the Camps of God. Throughout Scripture, God continually calls His people to live as a holy and separated people, devoted entirely to Him while serving faithfully in the world.
The Camps of God represent more than a physical gathering. They symbolize God’s covenant people—those who are spiritually prepared, obedient to His Word, and committed to His purposes. In every age, God has preserved a faithful remnant who refuse to compromise with the surrounding culture and instead remain steadfast in truth.
Because of the continual advancement in technology, the separation and distinction of our world’s values versus the Kingdom of God are becoming more relevant than ever before. For believers, the challenge will be more than just understanding the new inventions; it will also be to ensure that their hearts continue to stay rooted and grounded in Christ.
Technology Is a Tool, Not a Saviour
Artificial Intelligence is neither inherently righteous nor inherently evil. Like every human invention, it reflects the intentions of those who develop and use it. Technology can assist doctors in diagnosing diseases, help translators share the Gospel across languages, improve education, and make biblical resources available to millions around the world. These are positive applications that can advance human flourishing and even support Christian ministry.
The Bible also tells us that human ingenuity and accomplishments inflate our pride to the point where they bring us closer to God’s disgrace than they would allow His people to exercise their free will according to His purposes. Throughout history, we have seen that raising human intellect above God’s wisdom is the starting point for pride, deception, and moral ambiguity.
Instead of being afraid of every piece of new technology or jumping onto the newest technological advancement without thought or discernment about its appropriateness or suitability for God’s plans for mankind, as a Christian, we are called to be wise in our use of technology and biblical wisdom, and therefore will ask questions such as: “Is this technology promoting the truth?”, “Does this technology support humane and ethical uses of man and resources?”, and, “Is this technology glorifying to God?”
Prophecy Calls Believers to Discernment
God’s plan for prophecy is not to incite worry and worry; but rather to testify how God governs all and prepare people to be faithful in any situation.
In his ministry, Jesus continually encouraged his disciples to stay alert, stay prepared spiritually, and stay true! Similarly, Paul has encouraged believers to “test everything; then hold fast to what is good.” These statements have even greater relevance for today’s Christians given the technological advancements we have available (ex., instant communication of new information and changes to the way we live).
Artificial intelligence will impact global economies, education, communication, and governance; however, no technology has the power to modify God’s eternal plan. Jesus Christ continues to be the Lord of All History, and all that is effectively created by man will not affect God’s purposes.
Living as the Camps of God in a Digital Age
Today’s believers must face difficulties that previous generations could barely conceive of, such as Digital Media, Automation, Artificial Intelligence, & Constant Connection, which require Christian (Believers) to have more spiritual discipline than they have ever had before.
The Camps of God require us to choose to let the Bible lead us to select between the following: 1st, Confusion vs. 2nd, Truth; 3rd, Obedience vs. 4th, Convenience. These choices will be influenced by God’s Word, as opposed to algorithm-based info, popular opinion, & trends in culture.
The primary ways in which Christians develop their spiritual lives are prayer, consistent Bible reading, fellowship with other Christians, and being faithful in the process of being a disciple. Technology will support all of these practices; however, it will never replacethe renewing ofone’s mind by the Holy Spirit.
Preparing for Christ’s Return
A significant message from the School for Prophets in Africa is being ready for Jesus Christ when he returns in glory. The Bible encourages us as believers to not let fear distract us. Instead, we should live according to the Scriptures, preach the Gospel courageously, and be holy in every area of our lives.
Preparation is not simply the knowledge of prophetic events; it requires real heart transformation, knowledge of God’s Word, and a commitment to perform God’s will without wavering.
As the world continues to become more complex, the Church must continue to grow deeper into Scripture. Believers who have a firm foundation in God’s Word cannot be easily led astray by false teaching, misinformation, or sensationalism regarding what will happen in the future.
The Mission of the School for Prophets Africa
The purpose of the School for Prophets Africa is to provide believers with a quality education grounded on Scripture that will prepare them for a life of faithful service in this important time of life. We combine theology with practical ministry training, enabling students to grow in their relationship with God, grow spiritually mature, grow to understand the Bible, and be able to lead based on God’s Word.
All students receive training in Bible interpretation, exegesis, prophecy, discipleship, evangelism, missions, pastoral leadership, and Christian living. After class time, students are encouraged to use God’s Word to minister to others through their ministry, community involvement, and by serving as leaders.
Our goal is not merely to produce knowledgeable students but faithful disciples who love Christ, rightly handle the Word of God, and serve His Kingdom with humility and excellence.

Artificial Intelligence will undoubtedly continue to shape the future, but the greatest need of every generation remains unchanged: faithful men and women who know God’s Word, walk in obedience, and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Camps of God are a reminder for people of faith that, despite the ever-moving nature of the world, God’s truth remains constant. While technology changes, cultures change and what we think we know keeps growing (knowledge), Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today… and forever.
Instead of responding to the unknown out of fear, let us seek God’s wisdom from the Bible, hear from Him through the Holy Spirit and live in faith until He returns. We can be strong in the Word and Holy Spirit – as we always strive to fulfil God’s purposes until His Son returns.
